Terms of Agreement

This, www.nora-nova.com, Services Agreement is between Customer, an organization or employer on behalf of itself, and Nora Nova.

By booking any session or trajectory, the client declares to be of sound mind and is legally allowed to make decisions. By contacting us, the client declares that they are currently not experiencing a psychotic episode, nor have received any recent serious psychiatric diagnoses. The client declares not to suffer from severe depression and is not experiencing suicidal thoughts and/or tendencies. We do not offer, nor claim to be offering, any psychiatric or psychological treatments. If the client contacts us despite any of the above being present, we do not claim any legal responsibility and the client will not be able to hold us accountable.

Nora Nova is a project-based company, under registration of the company Altaïr Begeleiding, Located in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, KVK: 65160800. Because Nora Nova offers psychology-based advice and does NOT offer psychological/psychiatric treatment, we do not require an active, local license. We do however meet the educational standard and certificates required to offer our services. If you have any questions or concerns about this, please contact us.

  • The Client agrees to provide accurate information and to keep this information up to date when using the services of www.nora-nova.com.
  • The Client agrees to respect the Therapist and their professional boundaries.
  • The Client agrees to respect the confidentiality of the information and communication shared between the Client and the Therapist.
  • The Client agrees to provide payment for services rendered in a timely manner.
  • The Client agrees to notify the Therapist at least 24 hours in advance if they need to reschedule or cancel an appointment. If this timeframe is not met, the client must pay 50% of the payment as compensation.
  • The Client understands that Nora Nova is a donation-based platform, where the range is suggestive and payment is not obligatory. However, Nora Nova is allowed to decide how many complimentary sessions are offered per person and is allowed to decline any client without stating a reason.
  • The Client agrees to not use any of the Therapist’s services while under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
  • The Client agrees to understand that the Therapist is not a medical doctor and is not able to provide medical advice or prescribe medication.
  • The Client agrees to not use the Therapist’s services for any illegal activities.
  • The Client agrees that Nora Nova is under no obligation to keep any written files regarding the client. Files that are made are strictly confidential and will not be shared with a third party unless required by law (see PRIVACY). Nora Nova is allowed to delete files within any desired timeframe. If Nora Nova decides to take notes, the client is free to request them. After the file is received, its protection is the client’s responsibility. Deletion of files can be requested at any time and must be fulfilled by Nora Nova within 48 hours.
  • The Client agrees that they are solely responsible for their own emotional and physical health.
  • The Client agrees to use the services of www.nora-nova.com at their own risk.

Privacy

Nora Nova is committed to protecting the privacy of our customers. We do not share any personal or financial information with third parties unless required by law. Any information collected such as name, address, payment information, and demographics is kept secure and confidential. We use encryption to protect all data collected on our website. We also require Therapists to follow strict confidentiality guidelines as outlined in their professional agreements. AURORA VOICES TERMS OF AGREEMENT

By joining the Aurora Voices project and participating in our community, you agree to abide by the following terms and conditions:

1. Recording Prohibition

Participants are strictly prohibited from recording, reproducing, distributing, or using any part of the discussions and content shared within the Aurora Voices community. Any breach of this rule will result in immediate removal from the community and possible legal action.

2. Aurora Recordings

Aurora reserves the right to record all discussions and interactions within the community. These recordings are primarily intended for safety purposes and to monitor the quality of interactions within the group.

3. Use of Recordings

Aurora may decide to use the recorded content in part or full for publishing on YouTube or other platforms. While individual voice permissions will be sought wherever possible, Aurora reserves the right to use anonymized voice-modulated versions of the recordings as it deems fit.

4. Non-Therapeutic Nature

Aurora Voices is a mental health community, not a therapeutic group. Individuals with severe mental health conditions that may potentially burden the group or disrupt the community dynamics are not permitted to join.

5. Age and Responsibility

All participants in the Aurora Voices community must be of legal adult age, emotionally stable, and willing to assume responsibility for their contributions and interactions concerning mental health topics.

6. Limitation of Liability

Aurora or its representatives are not responsible or liable for any personal distress, emotional responses, or actions resulting from the discussions within the Aurora Voices community. All participants engage in discussions at their own risk

7. Moderator Discretion

A moderator chosen by Nora Nova has the right to mute or remove anyone from the meeting at their discretion, without having to provide an explanation. This is done in the interest of preserving the harmony and productivity of the group.
